Q: What materials can you laser cut?
A: We have the capability to laser cut birch plywood up to 6mm thick and lightweight plywood up to 9mm. Additionally, at Flightplan Models we are equipped to process acrylics, PETG, and a variety of other materials that are compatible with laser cutting.
Q: Can I customise items from your website?
A: Absolutely! If you would like any bespoke RC plane accessories cut to your bespoke specifications, please get in touch via phone or email, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your requirements.
Q: Can you cut something I’ve designed?
A: Yes, we can cut your own designs. If you provide a CAD drawing in SVG, DXF, HPGL, or most other common file formats, we can work with it.
Q: How long does a bespoke order take?
A: Custom orders typically take our team around 4-5 working days, plus delivery time.
Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: We accept all major forms of payment, including PayPal and credit cards through the website, and even over the phone.
Q: Do you ship worldwide?
A: Yes, we ship globally using DPD and UPS, depending on your location.
Q:Are my goods insured during delivery?
A: Yes, where possible, we include insurance with all shipments for added peace of mind.
Q: Do you offer a building service for RC aircraft?
A: At Flightplan Models we no longer provide a building service at present, as we are currently focused on the laser cutting side of the business.
Q: Do you sell RC kits?
A: Currently we do not sell RC kits, but this is something we are actively looking into within the business.
Q: What are Flightplan Models’ future plans?
A: We’re working on offering RC kits and reintroducing some classic designs. Soon, we’ll also have the capability to CNC hot wire cut foam wings. In addition, we’re gradually expanding our shop to include frequently used parts and components, all while remaining competitive in the market.
